Do you discount projects you wish to knit because short rows are listed as a skill needed? Don't be intimidated by short rows any longer! In our Short Rows Made Simple Workshop we will practice three types of short rows: the wrap and turn, German and Japanese. We will discuss the hows and whys of short rows and, by the end of class, you will have your favorite that you will turn to time and time again. You will learn how to convert a pattern from one type of short row to your preferred type. Join us for this round up of short row techniques so you can take them on with ease and confidence!

Prerequisite skills: Students must be able to knit and purl with ease and be able to read his/her knitting.
Materials: 100 yards of worsted weight yarn, US7 needles (straight or 24" cirs), 6 locking stitch markers
Prep-work: Please make 3 swatches and bring to class on needle.
Swatch instruction: Cast-on 25 stitches using desired cast-on method. Work Garter Stitch (knit the right side and knit the wrong side) for 4 rows. Works Stockinette Stitch (knit the right side and purl the wrong side) for 6 rows. Leave stitches live on knitting needle.
