Casapinka's 2020 Advent KAL a.k.a. The Secret Life of Cats (and dogz) is a surprise KAL (not a mystery KAL.) The complete pattern will be published on Ravelry November 30 with a project picture at the end of the pattern. You can decide whether you want it to be a surprise or not. It will not be published in clue form.

The KAL officially runs from Dec. 1-25. As you know from The Sharon Show Facebook page (which is basically a fun place to post cat and dog photos and share your Sharon and Casapinka projects), there are really no deadlines and people do all sorts of patterns at any one time. The point is just to have FUN!

Project Details:
The Secret Life of Cats was designed envisioning using 4 skeins of fingering weight yarn (375 yards per color); solids, tonals, speckles, and variegated colorways all work.

Yarn: Your custom curated kit includes 4 hanks of Emma's Yarns Beautifully Basic fingering weight 100% superwash merino. Each skein is 100 grams and has 438 yards.

Gauge: 22 st/4" on US 6 needles.

Shape: Rectangular shawl with 25 sections - and also has directions to make it an infinity cowl or a scarf with flared ends!

KAL notes:
The KAL goes from December 1-25 with the goal of knitting one section per day with a glass of wine or hot apple cider in hand. Good movies on the tube. Pretending we aren't in a world-wide pandemic (and from Sharon - also that cats rule the world.)
